The Aprilia MX 50 is a scale replica of a true supermotard, and guarantees the younger rider entertaining, stylish motorcycling. The Aprilia MX 50 is a high technology, high excitement fun bike.
The MX 50 is the epitome of aggressive styling, with slender lines emphasised by the front mudguard, and the short wheelbase typical of a true supermotard. Though flat, the custom air intake is also tall enough to protect the tank in the event of a fall. The rear side panels are tapered to enhance the MX 50 stunning looks.
The two stylish 17’’ extruded aluminium wheels cannot fail to catch the eye. These large section wheels ensure that the MX 50 sports tyres get a really perfect grip on the road.
In addition to its impressive 17’’ wheels, the other components of the MX 50 also satisfy the demands of the expert rider. The front fork is a robust Marzocchi upside-down telescopic unit.
This heavy duty fork also helps get the best out of the powerful front brake, a 230 mm disk with floating twin piston calliper.
At the rear, the Pro Double Arm swing-arm is damped via progressive action linkages by a monoshock with separate gas reservoir.
The rear suspension system absorbs even the hardest bumps, but also keeps the MX50 rear wheel in glue-like contact with even the minutest of surface dips and rises.
The enduro style, double cradle frame is manufactured from high strength tube for maximum torsional rigidity. In conjunction with the other prestigious chassis components, this frame makes the Aprilia MX 50 fun to ride while also precise and safe under all conditions of use.
The agility and sporting nature of the MX50 supermotard are really brought out by the excellent performance of the single cylinder 2 stroke engine with liquid cooling and vibration damping countershaft. This unit is totally reliable, thanks to its aluminium cylinder with nickel and silicon carbide barrel.
The instruments include a rev counter and feature clear, easy to read graphics to keep the Aprilia MX 50 riding parameters under complete control.
The Aprilia MX 50 is equipped with a Euro 1 standard catalysed exhaust system.
