Thank you for choosing TAC for the maintenance and repair of your vehicle, our aim is to provide you with an excellent good value service for all of your motoring needs.
If for any reason you are dissatisfied (and satisfied) with our service then we would really appreciate if you could please let us know by completing our feedback form. We will endeavour to reply to all of your comments and issues with 48 hours.
To ensure that we can provide the best possible service we would like to take the opportunity to highlight the following and would appreciate it if you could take a little time to digest the below points.
- IT WOULD REALLY HELP US IF YOU COULD PROVIDE A CONTACT NUMBER/EMAIL THAT WE CAN CONTACT YOU ON AT ANY TIME REFERENCE YOUR VEHICLE. SHOULD REQUIRED THIS WILL ALLOW US TO GAIN FURTHER DETAIL ON THE PROBLEM YOU ARE EXPERIENCING WITH YOUR VEHICLE OR TO GET AN AUTHORISATION FOR ANY ADDITIONAL WORK. THIS WILL ASSIST US IN GENERALLY KEEPING THE COSTS AS LOW AS POSSIBLE AND GET YOU BACK ON THE ROAD AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
- IF YOU ARE BOOKING YOUR VEHICLE IN FOR JUST A ROUTINE SERVICE, THIS WILL ONLY COVER ROUTINE MAINTENANCE WHICH SHOULD BE DONE AT REGULAR MILEAGE/INTERVALS. IF YOU ARE AWARE OF ANY OTHER PROBLEMS WITH YOUR VEHICLE THEN PLEASE INFORM US OF THESE AS WE CAN TRY AND RESOLVE THEM WHILE CARRYING OUT THE SERVICE. IF WE DON’T KNOW THEN WE CAN’T HELP!
- DUE TO OUR LOCATION ON SITE SPACE IS AT A PREMIUM. ONCE THE JOB IS COMPLETED AND YOU HAVE BEEN INFORMED WE WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE THAT YOU COLLECT YOUR VEHICLE WITHIN 2 DAYS (UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED). UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE NO OPTION TO CHARGE A £15 + VAT/DAY STORAGE CHARGE FOR EVERYDAY THE VEHICLE IS NOT COLLECTED AFTER THE 2ND DAY.
- DUE TO THE AGE AND CONDITION OF VEHICLES GENERAL CORROSION CAN CAUSE THE NATURAL WEAKENING OF COMPONENTS TO YOUR VEHICLE SUCH AS NUTS, BOLT ETC. OUR HIGHLY TRAINED MECHANICS WILL DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO AVOID ANY UNNECESSARY BREAKAGE DUE TO THIS NATURAL WEAKENING. IN THE EVENT OF NATURAL BREAKAGE WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR RECTIFYING THE MATTER.
- OUR HIGHLY TRAINED STAFF WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO GIVE YOU AS CLOSE AN ESTIMATE AS POSSIBLE FOR THE WORKS TO BE CARRIED OUT. IN SOME CASES AT THE TIME OF THE VEHICLE BEING WORKED ON ADDITIONAL WORK ITEMS MAY BE IDENTIFIED. IN CASES SUCH AS THESE OUR MECHANICS OR WORKSHOP MANAGER WILL CALL YOU TO INFORM YOU OF THESE TO GAIN AUTHORISATION. WE WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD REPLY WITHIN 1HR SO THAT WE CAN PROGRESS WITH YOUR VEHICLE. SHOULD ANY OF THE ITEMS BE SAFETY RELATED SUCH AS BRAKES/TYRES THEN WE WILL CONTINUE WITHOUT AUTHORISATION.
- AS WE ORDER SPARE PARTS FROM A RANGE OF SUPPLIERS (BOTH LOCAL AND ABROAD) WE WILL GIVE YOU AS BEST AN ESTIMATE OF THE EXPECTED DELIVERY TIME AS WE CAN. SHOULD A DELAY OCCUR WE WILL DO EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO TRY AND SPEED UP THE PROCESS BUT UNFORTUNATELY WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DELAYS DUE TO LOSS, DAMAGE OR CHANGES TO OUR SUPPLIERS STOCKING.
- ON OCCASIONS WHERE IDENTIFYING FAULTS IS NOT STRAIGHT FORWARD AND DIAGNOSTIC WORK IS REQUIRED, OUR FULLY TRAINED MECHANICS WILL ENDEAVOUR TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. IN EVENTS SUCH AS THESE WE WILL NEED A MINIMUM OF 1HR DIAGNOSTIC TIME (CHARGEABLE), AND TAKE AUTHORISATION FOR ANY FURTHER TIME REQUIRED.
